The role:


We are looking for an experienced Account Director to join our NYC office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for: 

Building strategic partnerships:
You will be responsible for successfully maintaining and growing a client portfolio. You will be the strategic lead for these accounts, as well as overseeing the account growth, and managing the relationship with senior stakeholders. As a trusted partner, you will be able to identify client needs, and work with external and internal stakeholders to define and build innovative solutions. While onsite with clients, you will be the business expert, building and cultivating relationships to ensure that together, you are able to deliver impactful work.  
Delivering head-turning work:  
You must be highly versatile, inventive and have a passion for pushing the boundaries to create the head-turning deliverables we are known for. To be successful, you’ll combine strategy, creativity and lateral thinking with drive and orientation to detail to keep projects running smoothly and efficiently. Through a consultative approach, you will provide advisory on top level marketing strategies, developing clear briefs that inspire creative solutions for client’s business challenges. This is includes oversight of program engagements, identifying clear deliverables, accurate budgets, realistic timelines and measurable KPIs.   

Land new accounts:  

You must love a good pitch. You will create new opportunities for the agency, while expanding contacts with key senior clients at net new accounts and maintaining relationships post-engagement. You will be the person responsible for pulling an all-star team together to lead a new RFP from start to finish. While creating new opportunities, you will also be striving to achieve stretch targets and developing new revenue streams. As part of the business development function, the Account Director will lead development of new business operations, through identification, outreach, pursuit and conversion.  

Relevant experience, mindset and skills:  


  •  5-8 years of work experience, agency or in-house. B2B experience is a must-have. 
  • As a trusted advisor, you’ll be credible with clients and internal teams so communicate ideas and programs so that they are understood and bought into 
  • You have the ability to synthesize research findings, uncover and articulate insights that will inform and inspire digital planning, media and creative  
  • You have a passion and pulse for data, martech and industry trends 
  • You work flexibly and efficiently, exercising a balance between research, strategy and client management  
  • Your approach to problem solving is proactive and self-directed, you seek and engage with experts from other disciplines to develop your point-of-view  
  • You never settle. You have a passion for creations solutions that push the norm. Solutions that will differentiate the agency while delivering business results 
  • You always project a positive and can-do attitude and ensure expectations are always met, if not exceeded   
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in an internal and client-facing capacity

Salary: Negotiable

Office hours: Usually 9am - 6pm. However, due to workload and international client demands, this could change.
